Barbara Baker, 83, of Wheeling, WV, passed away September 30, 2026, at Wheeling Hospital. Born March 11, 1943, she was the daughter of the late J.J. and Betty Yost.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Rev. Glen Baker Jr.; her parents; and her sister, Ethel Kloss.
Barbara is survived by her children, Michael Fedczak (Peggy), Sharon DeChiazza (Fred), and Colleen Baker; grandchildren Michael Fedczak (Kendra), Lydia DeChiazza (Tanner), and McKenna DeChiazza; great-grandsons Michael, Matthew, and Miles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara devoted her life to caring for others through her career, the Lions Club, and Warwood United Methodist Church. Known for her kindness, faith, and generous heart, she never missed an opportunity to let those she loved know they were remembered.
Barbara was truly an angel on Earth, and her family finds comfort knowing she has been reunited in Heaven with those she loved.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 5, 2026 starting at 10am with a Memorial Service to follow at 11am at the Warwood United Methodist Church, 1438 Warwood Avenue, Wheeling, WV 26003.
