She was born on January 24, 1943 in Marion County, OH daughter of the late Ory and Ethel (Smith) Patten.
In addition to her parents Rosalie was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Stratton.
She is survived by her husband, Arden J. Welsh; children, Kurt Welsh, Jill (Tom) Ball, Tweed (Jacki) Welsh; grandchildren, Shannon, Lauren, Jaden and Thomas.

Donald A. Zinni, 87, of Yorkville, OH, passed away, Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Liza’s Place, in Wheeling, WV. He was born December 9, 1936, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Dan and Frances (Pielech) Zinni.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann (Miller) Zinni.
Don was involved with the OVAC for many years. He was a football coach, football official, and ultimately, the OVAC Football Commissioner. Don was principal for Buckeye Local Schools for many years and was a lifelong member of St. Lucy Catholic Church.
