Emil J. Slavik, 86, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Thursday, November 30, 2023, in Wheeling Hospital. He was born December 9, 1936, in Blaine, Ohio, a son of the late Suzanna Hutira Slavik and Emil Slavik Sr. A graduate of St. John Central High School in Bellaire and the DeVry Institute in Chicago, Illinois, Emil had worked his entire career with C&P / Verizon Telephone Company as a telephone service technician.
