James “Jim” Edward Ritz left this world on November 1, 2023 to be reunited with his beloved wife, Marie. Jim was born on January 7th, 1930 to Edward James Ritz and Geradine Holcomb who preceded him in death. His brothers Thomas, Jack and his grandson, Stephen Michael Kassimer also entered into the heavenly kingdom prior to his passing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 74 years, Ernest L. Samuel Eugene Jones, 89 of Bethany WV, passed away at 3:36 PM on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. Samuel was born on July 23, 1934 in Bethany, WV. He was the son of the late G. Adrian Jones and Estelleita (Summerton) Jones. Samuel retired as a Games Area Manager. He was the Bowling Coach for West Liberty State College retiring after 20 plus years. During his time as coach, Samuel’s team won the 1976 National Champion beating UCLA in San Antonio, TX.
