Earl William Smith, 79, of New Martinsville, WV, passed peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2026, with his wife and family by his side. Earl was born June 23, 1946, in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Earl and Mary Virginia (Buskirk) Smith. He was a retired Commercial Insurance Agent (which he enjoyed very much), a U.S. Navy veteran having served in Vietnam as a 1st Class Petty Officer on the USS Forrestal and USS Valcour AVP-55.
