Terry Mason and his staff have been improving the lives of Ohio Valley residents for 40 years at Mason Rehab, now offering water therapy at their two locations.
In addition to state-of-the-art exercise and physical therapy equipment, Mason Rehab provides two large pools — one at its 1 Community St. location in Wheeling on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and at 1001 Baltimore St. in McMechen on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
While clients at Mason Rehab are referred by physicians, anyone can seek the services at the facilities.
“We specialize in industrial rehab … upper and lower extremities, rehab for joint replacement, disc, cervical and lumbar issues, just about anything,” Mason said.
Mason is well-versed in all areas of rehab, having experience with many types of medical issues including burn patients. His staff will provide the best regiment of exercise, stretching and aquatic rehab to improve mobility and range of motion, reduce inflamation and address issues of the spine.
When formal rehab is complete, many of Mason’s clients often make Mason Rehab a part of their ongoing wellness program as monthly clients of the facilities.
“Our goal is making sure the people get the best possible care and outcomes,” Mason added.
The trained staff, under the guidance of Mason, offers therapy for those who may have suffered a stroke, sports injury, work-related or accident injuries, also injuries from falls or simply to rehab after surgery.
