WHEELING — Dr. Sara Miller, who recently completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Allegheny Health Network, in Pittsburgh, has joined the practice of ob-gyn Dr. Emily Morris at Wheeling Hospital.

Miller earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at Boston University, graduating summa cum laude.

Her medical degree was earned at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.

While serving her residency, Miller earned the Allegheny Health Network Medical Education Consortium, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine Award.

She was also the M&M/PSQI chief resident.

Her resident research project was “Auditing of Gynecologic Operating Room Times for Hysteroscopy.” She also served on the Performance Improvement Oversight Committee.

Miller has research experience at both Magee-Women’s Research Institute, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center; and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Cell Biology and Physiology.

She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
