Christmas is coming. Throughout the Northern Panhandle and East Ohio, compassionate people are working hard to help less fortunate children and their families. Time grows short for all of us to join in with contributions of money, toys, warm winter coats, delectable holiday dinner foods and other items for the season.
If you have not helped one of the drives, please do so immediately. Those aiding the needy require time to organize donated items, purchase others and distribute them.
This is important.
Every child in the Ohio Valley deserves the same delightful visit from Santa Claus that our children and grandchildren will receive.
Every mother and father deserves to see sons and daughters giggling with delight on Christmas morning.
Every family deserves a stomach-patting holiday dinner, complete with all the trimmings.
It will not happen without us. So yes, this is the most important editorial of the day.
