A wonderful evening of music from more than 150 young musicians took place Wednesday during the Ohio County Strings Association fall program at Wheeling Park High School.
Students from the county's middle schools and the high school performed more than a dozen pieces that showed off their talents. Ohio County's public school system continues to be a leader in West Virginia in providing students with such opportunities.
The work being done by students, teachers and parents to foster a love of stringed instruments is commendable.
Congratulations to all those involved in another memorable night of music.
