When you consider companies that have invested in Wheeling over the past decade, it's hard to look past the contributions of the Woda Cooper Companies.
Last week the firm, which specializes in affordable housing, unveiled its newest project, Hobbs Greene. Located on Jacob Street in South Wheeling, the 39-unit structure is the latest bright light in a neighborhood that for years was neglected.
Woda Cooper also has the LaBelle Greene site in South Wheeling, which sits at the former LaBelle Nail factory, and has plans for another South Wheeling apartment building as well.
This is the fifth Wheeling project Woda has completed, and they've all been a success. The community should be thankful for Woda's willingness to invest in Wheeling.
