– To the Bordas & Bordas law firm of Wheeling for its continued title sponsorship of the Broadway at the Capitol series. This coming season will begin Dec. 9 with Mannheim Steamroller Christmas, in which the neo-classical new age group's music celebrates the holiday season. The next show comes Feb. 7, with the musical Anastasia. On Feb. 18 the all-female Irish musical ensemble Celtic Woman comes to Wheeling, and then "The Simon & Garfunkel Story" comes to town March 1.
The season concludes April 26 with "Legally Blonde: The Musical."
– To the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra and Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal Inc. for the upcoming production of Music Under the Stars, set for Sept. 4 at Oglebay's Anne Kuchinka Amphitheater. The 7:30 p.m. show, which is free and open to the public, will kick off the Symphony's new season with a special performance of The Beatles' greatest hits along with "Abbey Road" in its entirety.
