The school qualified three teams for the national event, and one team -- Iron Patriot Mark 1 -- made it through the opening round, qualifying fifth out of 800 teams, before being eliminated in the second round. Iron Patriot Mark 1 -- led by senior Ethan Matz -- advanced to the elimination rounds in the engineering division Thursday afternoon. Other members of the team included Adam Ginting, Isaac Garrison and Christopher Alkhouri.
