For 45 years, no matter the weather, family commitments, injury or any other issue that could have come up, four local men -- Tim Cogan, Pat Cronin, David Fiorilli, and Michael Lemaster -- have shown up early on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, ready to go, and ran the Ogden Half Marathon Classic and its predecessors. That's nearly 600 miles of competitive running during that span. What an impressive feat.
All four completed Saturday's event, and here's to seeing them again on the course next year, the Ironmen of Wheeling, getting ready to tackle a 46th running of the race.
What an inspiration to us all.
