How interesting that a new film, "The Gun on Second Street," is being filmed almost entirely in Wheeling over the next few months. The reasons why? It's cheaper and easier than filming in Pittsburgh, the film's setting. Also, Wheeling's Victorian architecture fits well with the time period.
This is great news for the city, and should serve as incentive for getting more films shot here.
