– To E.J. Schodzinski and Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration for their continued support of youth sports camps at the Wheeling YMCA. Schodzinski, chief administrative officer at Belmont Savings Bank, has been spending his Wednesday evenings as of late working with youngsters on their basketball skills, the 16th year he has held such a camp. Panhandle sponsors the camp which focuses on teaching the basics. Excellent work!
– To the Circus Saints and Sinners of Wheeling which presented $25,000 to WVU Medicine Children's Hospital, which were the proceeds from the Party on the Plaza over the summer. The gift is part of a $150,000 commitment from the group for Children's Hospital. In turn, the waiting and reception area of the diagnostic and imaging floor at Children's Hospital has been named for Circus Saints and Sinners.
