– To Ohio County Schools officials who did such a wonderful job recently with the “Gateway to the West” robotics tournament at The Highlands Sports Complex that it will be coming back next year as a signature qualifying event for the Vex Robotics World Championships. This was announced at the Vex World Championships just this past week, at a time when Wheeling Park High School saw its first-ever team advance past the opening divisional round and make it to the divisional semifinals. The “Iron Patriots-Wagyu” squad has much to be proud of as Ohio County Schools continues to promote robotics.
