Plenty Of Fun Events Throughout The Ohio Valley

2 min read

Never let it be said that there's nothing to do around the Ohio Valley. What we saw just last weekend is proof enough of that.

Here's what Ohio Valley residents were able to enjoy over three days:

Friday night offered Fun Fest Friday at Wheeling Park. On Saturday, the park hosted the annual Wheeling Arts Festival, which brought artists in multiple mediums together to display their work. Saturday also featured the ribbon cutting for the new disc golf course at Oglebay Park Resort, that both locals and resort guests can enjoy right now.

And polka aficionados braved raindrops Sunday for the annual Barton Polka Festival.

That's a wide and varied array of activities for us to enjoy. And the Ohio Valley isn't close to being done putting together the fun.

Future weekends will give us the Heritage Music Blues Fest, the Lebanese Festival, the Mountaineer Brewfest, the Ohio River Festival in Powhatan Point and more.

So many organizations around our community work their hardest to produce exciting events that the entire family can enjoy. They embrace the region's beauty and heritage to create festivals and outings that are distinctly Ohio Valley.

Check the calendar and make your way to a couple. You won't regret it.
