Busy As You May Be, Don’t Forget To Vote

2 min read

Lives are busy, scheduled are hectic and jam-packed. But that can't be an excuse to not exercise your right to vote.

Voting is one of the most important things you can do as a United States citizen. It's your opportunity to shape how you are represented in Charleston and in Washington D.C. It's your chance to either help maintain the status quo if you like it and change it if you don't.

But Tuesday might not be convenient for you to drop everything and cast a ballot. Luckily, early voting runs through Saturday throughout West Virginia.

Hancock County residents can go to the Hancock County Courthouse from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, while Brooke County residents can visit their county courthouse from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday. Ohio County residents can visit their courthouse from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, while Marshall County residents can visit their courthouse from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday. Wetzel County residents can visit their courthouse from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday and Tyler County residents can visit their courthouse from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday. And all those sites will be open Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

There are plenty of opportunities to make your voice heard in the political process. Don't let that pass you by.
