Fort Henry Days 2021 Was a Success
The 24th Fort Henry Days was a huge success.
The weather on Saturday was fantastic with comfortable temperatures. We dodged light showers on Sunday but all in all it turned out to be a great weekend both for the re-enactors and the large crowd of people that turned out to witness Fort Henry Days which was held at Oglebay Park over Labor Day weekend.
The annual Fort Henry Days started in 1997 in downtown Wheeling and quickly outgrew that space moving to Oglebay where we celebrate recreating a chapter of Wheeling’s history for the public.
The Board of Directors of Fort Henry Living History wishes to thank the following businesses, individuals and organizations for their support in making the 2021 Fort Henry Days a great success:
West Virginia Division of Culture and History, City of Wheeling, Wheeling Convention and Visitors Bureau, Ohio County Commissioners, Wheeling National Heritage Area Corporation, Oglebay Resort, Bordas & Bordas, The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register, The Times Leader, David Perri, Michael Hires, Fikar’s Finest, Shooters Productions, Sons of the American Revolution, Hocking College, Project Best Carpenters, DeFelice Pizza, Eat-N-Park and Wheeling Volkswagen and Subaru.
