Joe Manchin is a disappointment. The coal miners’ union wants Build Back Better to pass. Will he listen to them or continue to be an obstinate baby?

Manchin’s legacy is tarnished; his daughter will forever be remembered as the Epi-pen price gouger. You collect money from the coal company run by your son. If you were to be investigated for corruption it would be game over for you.

He’s a coal enthusiast who sucks at the teat of fossil fuel donations. He’s on camera pushing your car into climate activists and videos of him being a total jerk by his yacht are viral. He’s a household name, and not a for good reason; we are (ticked) at him.

Does Manchin want history to view him as the lone fake Democrat who impeded America’s progress? I’ve lived in WV my whole life. I’ve shaken his hand. When I remember those times I feel dirty. I hope we will take the time to re-evaluate his end game: what is he leaving behind for his children and their children? He’s going to force the president to pass legislation piece by piece, and while he plays politics for pleasure, the child tax credit expires.

I know he’s rich so I don’t expect him to understand our plight but I wish he would have a little humanity and stop embarrassing us.
