Being FOR THE LEVY for the Ohio County Public Library is a no-brainer.

There will be no new taxes. The levy will appear on the May 14 primary election ballot here in Ohio County.

The Library provides so many resources to so many people in our community. The only time I’m happy to wait in line is when people are getting the gorgeous new library cards and checking out books.

If you haven’t been to the library in a while, they’ve got a lot going on, like the Library of Things where you can borrow tools, games, baking & cooking items, and more. Or come take a class or enjoy game night. Maybe your teen would enjoy the upcoming YA Murder Mystery night. Check out Music & Movement, Fun Labs, or Family Story Time events. Don’t forget you can utilize online resources such as reading the New York Times for free.

Come show your support FOR THE LEVY on May 14th or vote early!
