Water pipes broke in the major cities of the Upper Ohio River Valley during the extended cold spell, which saw record breaking lows. Moreover, frozen iguanas are falling out of trees in Florida, and New Orleans had a blizzard.

Greta, Al and the Davos attendees weren’t at my house to offer to mop up the mud. Why aren’t we hearing about the existential threat of global warming? Do we only hear about global warming during the summer? Or is the name changed for the winter months?

So when we hear predictions about temperatures are going to rise globally a few degrees unless America foregoes her lifestyles, does that explain why the polar vortex hung over the East Coast for an unusually long time and caused the Trump inauguration to be moved inside, but the California wildfires are the direct result of global warming/climate change? So is climate change local then? But with four, miserable years of the Big Guy pushing EVs and cutting back on fossil fuels and all of the money going to green energy in the Inflation Reduction Act, how could we be having record cold temperatures only two days into the rightful winner of the ’20 election’s administration?

Does climate change happen so suddenly, and Arctic dips know the political affiliation of the current occupant of the White House? Is it Putin’s fault?

There must have been some lengthy, cold periods for ice sheets to form and plow across Ohio about 25,000 years ago.

An extended period of time had to be above 32 degrees for the 2-mile thick ice sheet to melt. Do you hear from the climate change activists discussing when the Ohio Valley was the tropical home of huge lizards millions of years ago? The climate does change (we have four seasons); and it is cyclical, and we have millions of years to prove it.

The “scientists” espousing such misinformation also want you to believe your toddler needs updated with the umpteenth COVID booster. They told us they were “safe and effective,” but have suddenly gone into retirement and been pardoned. There needs to be greater scrutiny of these pompous scientists and who is funding them. With the bird flu out there, I’m waiting to hear “it will be only two weeks to slow the spread.”
