The stories will be slanted depending whether these people are a conservative or liberal. Editor, News-Register: We are getting a headcount of Wheeling’s homeless population. Why that takes two months is a mystery to me. Whatever the number is be thankful. If it was up to Elliott and Ketchum we would be a sanctuary city. I am pretty sure that the majority of the homeless are not local. Explain Fire HQ Relocation

Editor, News-Register: I think the public needs to know why the Wheeling Fire Department is being forced to move from its current headquarters to multiple locations for the company demolishing the OVMC complex. There are at least four buildings on the east side of Eoff Street that could be demolished before moving on to the west building. That would provide time for the new facility to be completed.
