Editor, News-Register: I live on Middle Grave Creek Road in Marshall County and I clean up trash along that road with my sister every Sunday. There were five political signs placed in a pull-off spot on the state right of way before the election. Today, we found said signs lying on the creek bank in the same location. I looked up the law regarding placement of political signs and discovered it is a $25 - $100 per day fine for placing them on the state right of way.
