Editor, News-Register: I would like people to know that there are still many kind, friendly people in Wheeling. I tripped over the handicap curb while walking my 3-year-old granddaughter out of the library on March 8. I fell onto my hands and knees and was quite stunned. Hundreds of thousands of refugees are trying to escape vile bombardment. It falls on us to provide support however we are able. Find a charity supporting refugees or ask your employer if they can start a collection drive. Share the news coverage of the heroic fight against Putin’s murderous rampage.
