Editor, News-Register: The war on Ukraine is a sad situation. We should be so thankful here in the U.S. that we have never had to endure this kind of persecution and displacement in our lifetimes. Editor, News-Register: I would like people to know that there are still many kind, friendly people in Wheeling. I tripped over the handicap curb while walking my 3-year-old granddaughter out of the library on March 8. I fell onto my hands and knees and was quite stunned.
