MORGANTOWN -- West Virginia football commit Chris Wilson Jr. was reportedly shot and killed Sunday night in Delaware County, Indiana, according to multiple local outlets and later confirmed by Rich Rodriguez. The 17-year-old was reportedly shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene Monday morning after being found in a car by Muncie police. Wilson was a four-star defensive end recruit for the class of 2027 from Yorktown High School and had been committed to the Mountaineers since June 11 of 2026. Pilots Score Clean Sweep vs. Southern

HANNIBAL — The River Pilots put together a clean sweep on the volleyball court Monday, dispatching visiting Southern 3-0 by scores of 25-8, 25-16, 25-5. Mallaire Maddy led the way for the Pilot attack with 18 kills. Alyvia Bates was next-highest with five kills. Maddy also led the team with 13 digs.
