WARSAW, OH -- The Wheeling Central Maroon Knights girls soccer team improved to 7-1 on the season with a 2-1 win over the Amherst Steele Comets during the River View High School Labor Day Classic. The Knights led 1-0 at halftime thanks to a goal by junior Elizabeth Steele. Amherst Steele tied it in the middle portion of the second half, but junior Loni Kusic tallied on a rebound to put the Knights back on top.
