Gerney Signs with W.Va. State

Wheeling Central’s Abigail Gerney has signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers for West Virginia State University in Institute, WV. She is a four-year member and letter winner of the Maroon Knights girls’ soccer program. She was named the team captain as a senior, All-Region first team and All-OVAC first team as a junior, OVAC All-Conference honorable mention as a sophomore, member of the 2017 and 2018 Class 1A-3A OVAC Girls Soccer Championship teams.
