WVU Men’s Hoops Next Two Home Games Postponed
The next two home games for the West Virginia men’s basketball team have been postponed.
The Big 12 Conference made the announcement on Tuesday.
The Mountaineers were scheduled to face TCU on Jan. 16 and Oklahoma State on Jan. 19.
On Monday, it was also announced that West Virginia’s matchup at Baylor that was scheduled for Tuesday was also postponed with a reschedule date that was still to be determined.
The Mountaineers’ next scheduled game is slated for Saturday, Jan. 23 against Kansas State.
West Virginia currently sits at a 9-4 overall record with a 2-3 mark in the Big 12.
The Mountaineers lost a heartbreaker in their last game against No. 4 Texas.
Andrew Jones drilled a 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds remaining to give the Longhorns a 72-70 victory at the Coliseum.
West Virginia, which is ranked 13th in the latest AP Top 25 poll, has four players averaging at least 10 points per game in Miles McBride (15.1), Derek Culver (13.8), Taz Sherman (12.4) and Sean McNeil (10.1).
