WEIRTON -- Three Cameron players scored in double figures as it defeated Madonna 51-47 in overtime in girls prep basketball action on Thursday.
Freshman Ashlynn Vantassell produced a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds while classmate Kenzie Clutter had a team-high 15 points for the Dragons.
Lili Neely was also solid with 11 points.
Jazzy Melnyk netted a game-high 24 points for the Blue Dons.
Linsly 78, Brooke 49
WELLSBURG -- Carleigh Grimm and Molly Heron both turned in double-doubles as Linsly defeated Brooke. Heron tallied 17 points and 11 boards for the Cadets while Grimm had 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Nevaeh Cook was also solid as she netted 12 points and dished out five assists.
For the Bruins, Madison Platt haad a game-high 23 points while Bailey Serevicz netted 10.
Wheeling Central 49, Magnolia 44
WHEELING -- Marisa Horan scored a team-high 12 points as Wheeling Central held off Magnolia.
Lily Vogrin and Elle Canestraro both netted nine points for the Maroon Knights.
For the Blue Eagles, Mady Winters tallied a game-high 28 points.
