The John Marshall Boys and Girls Golf Teams is seeking new members for the 2021 fall season.
Interested boys and girls, who will be students next fall at John Marshall, should have an interest in playing golf and willing to become involved in a program where they will learn the fundamentals and rules of playing golf, compete on the high school level and have fun. Previous experience at playing competitive golf is not required, just a desire to learn the lifelong game of golf.
John Marshall is the first high school in West Virginia to have separate boys' and a girls' golf teams that compete on the varsity and junior varsity level. Young men or women who are just learning the game will play on the junior varsity level and players who have mastered the fundamentals of golf will play on the varsity level. Freshman and sophomore members are also eligible to earn their physical education credits by participating on the team.
Parents or students who have an interest in participating on the 2021 John Marshall Golf Team can contact Head Coach David Gaudino at David.gaudino54@gmail.com or by calling (304) 242-0407 or Girls Coach Bridget Carnahan at bmjordan@k12.wv.us.
