Sharp-Shooting Williamson Leads Magnolia to Upset
RITCHIE COUNTY — Trevor Williamson exploded from deep as he drained seven 3-pointers as Magnolia went on the road and upset Ritchie County 42-39 in the Class AA, Region One, Section One Semifinal on Tuesday.
Williamson finished with 22 points in the win, while Hayden Pyles netted 13 and Kaden Johnson added six.

WEIRTON — Evan Bone and Matt Amaismeier each netted 19 points as Madonna upended Valley in postseason action.
Gavin Derby paced Valley with 18 points.

WOOD COUNTY — Caleb Strode turned in 24 points and Haygen Baker added 20 as Tyler Consolidated took care of Wood County Christian in the first round of the postseason.

Morgantown 80, Brooke 43
MORGANTOWN — After a strong 14-9 season, Brooke fell on the road in the sectional opener to Morgantown.
Alex Isinghood and Cole Sperlazza wrapped up stellar careers with 20 and 12 points, respectively, for the Bruins.
Brooks Gage paced the Mohigans with 17 points and Alec Poland added 16.

CADIZ — An outstanding season came to an end as Shadyside fell to Malvern, despite 15 points from Mason VanNest and 14 points by Elijah Brock.

CAMBRIDGE — Monroe Central battled until the very end but ultimately fell to Hiland in overtime.
Freshman Tucker Howell paced the Seminoles with 23 points and Malachi Rose-Burton added 10.

KEYSER — A thrilling ride came to an end for Wheeling Central as it fell in the regional co-final to Keyser.
Valerie Downing paced the Maroon Knights with 10 points, while Keiera Wilkinson tallied eight.

WASHINGTON, PA — J.R. Heavilin doubled and drove in a run, while Jacob Murray added a hit and a RBI but Wheeling fell to Cal (PA).

Reeves/Vandusen Qualify For NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships
WHEELING — The Wheeling Men’s Track & Field team had two qualifiers to this year’s Championship event as sophomore Jabez Reeves qualified in the 60-Meter Dash and Brian Vandusen qualified in the Men’s High Jump. They will be two of 270 athletes that will head to Pittsburg, Kansas to compete in the event with the best athletes in all of Division II.

GREENSBURG PA — Seton Hill swept West Liberty in a doubleheader, despite a home run and two RBI from Grace Swigart in the nightcap.
Riley Conkle paced the Hilltoppers in the opener with a double.
