Wheeling Central to Induct 9 In Hall of Fame Class of 2022

Wheeling Central Catholic High School is poised to induct nine new members into its Hall of Fame during ceremonies scheduled for Sept. 9-10.
Hall of Fame Weekend features a Friday evening game vs. Bellaire, where the inductees will be recognized during a special halftime ceremony. On the following morning, Sept. 10th, the official induction will take place at a brunch in the CCHS Great Hall beginning at 10 a.m.
“We are thrilled to honor these nine pillars of the CCHS Athletics community,” said Mike Young, head football coach at CCHS and chairman of the HOF committee. “The greatest thing for our current athletes to experience is the recognition of those who have paved the way for them.”
The Class of 22 includes: Kim Bower (’98), David Contraguerro (’03), Clayton Fitzsimmons (01), Robert Fitzsimmons (’70), Terry Murphy (’71), Rose Grubler Palmer (’76), Paula Thomas, Cristin Williams Roberts (’91) and Ricky Yahn (’02).
