WHEELING — Wheeling Park junior striker Merritt Delk matched the school record for goals in a career as the Patriots defeated Weir 4-1 Monday.

Delk scored twice against the Red Riders, the 103rd and 104th goals of her three-year career, tying her for the all-time career mark in school history.

She also provided the assists on Ellie Reasbeck’s goal. Adlie Abraham scored unassisted for the first goal of the game and Seneca Heller got the assist on Delk’s first goal. Ryleigh Hicks made one save in net.

Magnolia falls to Williamstown

WILLIAMSTOWN — The Blue Eagles fell on the road at Williamstown Monday by scores of 25-13, 25-18 and 29-27.

Lauren Gaiser led the team with 12 kills and six blocks. Julia Lilze had 18 digs and Jenn Blain recorded 10 with five kills.

RAYLAND — The Big Reds won over their hosts Monday in four sets (25-21, 28-26, 17-25, 25-15).

Bellaire was led by Gianna Schmidt’s 14 kills, eight digs and two blocks. Zara Harveth charted nine kills with three aces, two blocks and 10 digs. Gracelyn Maupin dished out 12 assists with two aces.
