BARNESVILLE — Shadyside recorded a repeat win over the Shamrocks and further solidified their spot in the OVAC Class 2A tournament with a victory Friday night.

The Tigers were led by senior Elijah Brock, who poured in 21 points. Junior Ben Wach added 11.

Barnesville was led by Taison Starr’s 11. Duker Castello and Cam Carpenter each had 10.

Monroe Central 62, Frontier 32

WOODSFIELD — The Seminoles were simply too much for the Cougars Friday night.

Sophomore Tucker Howell had 15 points to lead the Seminoles, while Jacob Fogle posted 14 with four bonus goals.

Frontier was led by Lucas Cox’s 14 points.

SPIRE Institute 57, Steubenville 40

STEUBENVILLE — Phaeton Hill netted 20 points but Big Red fell at home.
