GLEN DALE - Barton rebounded nicely from only its second loss of the Ohio Valley Baseball League with a 10-7 slugfest over host Moundsville on the John Marshall High School diamond.
The Braves (11-2) received three RBI from Trevor Thomas, while Colton Coss belted two singles, a double and drove in two. Kobe Hill and Josh Speaker evenly split four one-base raps, with Speaker plating two runs.
Coss, the second of three Barton pitchers, earned the win. He struck out three and walked one. Thomas picked up the save with four strikeouts.
Russell Schwertfeger knocked in two runs with two singles and a double for the Expos. Izaak Babiczuk singled twice and drove in a pair. Tim Mirandy slugged a two-run double and John Santimarino had a pair of one-base knocks and produced a run. Ty Rogers singled thrice.
