Barnesville Keeps On Rolling, Paden City Rallies For Victory

SARAHSVILLE - Barnesville won for the 25th consecutive time during the regular season with a convincing, 51-12, rout of host Shenandoah Friday Night.

The Shamrocks (9-0) will look to go 10-0 for the second straight season next Friday when they visit western Belmont County rival Union Local (6-3).

Taison Starr rushed for 186 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead the Barnesville attack. He had scoring runs of 54, 52 and 24.

Luke Detling caught eight passes for 107 yards including a 31-yard TD from Casey Carpenter. Detling also returned a kickoff 58 yards to the house. Camden Carpenter returned a punt 34 yards for six points and Evan Carpenter had a TD run. Evan Lough kicked six PATs and a field goal.

Steubenville 28, University Prep 0

STEUBENVILLE - Senior quarterback Aydan Manning fired three touchdown passes and spread the ball to eight different receivers, while the defense pitched its second-straight shutout as Big Red blanked visiting Preppers, for its eighth-straight win to improve to 8-1.

Manning's 244-yard, three touchdown performance and the defense racking up six sacks and an interception in keeping the visitors from Hunting Valley off the scoreboard were more than enough to overcome the setbacks, though.

River 48, Buckeye Local 0

HANNIBAL - Kabel Isaly threw three touchdown passes and returned a punt for a touchdown as the Pilots (6-2) blanked the visiting Panthers (1-8) at Martin Flannery Field.

Isaly connected with Lucas Dennis twice and also found Kaden Johnson. Johnson also had a TD run, as did Finn Bowers and Braden Johnson. Trey Larrick had a two-point run.

Paden City 42, Beallsville 28

BEALLSVILLE - The Wildcats (6-1) assured their first winning season since 2001 with their road win.

Joey Baker ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns for Paden City. Ashton Little added 107 yards on the ground. He ran for a TD and caught a TD pass. Brayden Neff had 157 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Harrison Central 27, Edison 12

CADIZ - The Huskies (7-2) outscored the Wildcats 20-0 in the second half for the win at Wagner Field.

Mykel Quito ran for 132 yards and two scores and Cam McAfee added 79 yards on the ground. He scored a rushing TD and caught a TD pass from Hayden Cassidy.

Talan McClurg ran for 88 yards and a TD for Edison. Evan Kimmerlee ran an interception back 85 yards.

Dover 42, Linsly 21

DOVER - The Cadets (3-4) fell below .500 with their loss at Crater Stadium on Friday.

Luca Troullos had a 100-yard kickoff return and caught four passes for 54 yards. Malte Feil caught a 26-yard touchdown pass from Braden Wade and kicked three PATs. Neri Weiner ran for 56 yards and scored on a 3-yard run.

St. Mary's 42, Magnolia 6

ST. MARY'S - Hunter Oates ran 10 times for 95 yards, scoring on a 61-yard jaunt as the Blue Eagles (0-7) fell to the Blue Devils.

Cameron 59, Clay-Battelle 6

CAMERON - The Dragons' Klypsan Wallace went over the 1,000 yard rushing mark Friday night in their rout of the Cee-Bees.
