Best Virginia Announces Final Roster for TBT 2025

CHARLESTON – Best Virginia, the West Virginia alumni team hosting TBT’s West Virginia Regional at the Charleston Coliseum from July 18-22, announced their final roster for the 2025 event.

Best Virginia, the third seed in the West Virginia Region, is led by team GM John Flowers and Head Coach Jarrod West Sr. Ron Everhart and Donald Kummer will serve as assistant coaches.

Best Virginia’s final roster features: Toby Okani (2024-25), Eduardo Andre (2024-25), Tre Mitchell (2022-23), Kedrian Johnson (2020-23), Wesley Harris (2017-19), John Flowers (2007-11), James Reese V (North Texas), Isaiah Sanders (Fairmont State), Will Vorhees (Notre Dame College), JD Weatherspoon (Ohio State/Toledo) and Jarrod West (Marshall/Louisville).

Herd That (Marshall Alumni) will open play against Sikh Warriors on Friday, July 18, at 6 p.m. Later that night, at 8, Best Virginia will take on DuBois Dream in their first round matchup. If Best Virginia and Herd That both advance to the second round, they will face each other on Sunday, July 20, at 5 p.m. on FS1. All games not on FOX Sports can be streamed for free on YouTube.

The DuBois Dream roster features several familiar names, including former West Liberty standouts Dalton Bolon, Christian Montague, and Lanyc Shuler. The Dream scrimmaged against West Liberty on Tuesday inside the ASRC in preparations for the TBT.

The West Virginia Regional championship game is Tuesday, July 22 at 7 p.m.

The winner of the West Virginia Regional will play the winner of the James Madison Regional in the quarterfinals on Monday, July 28, at 9 p.m. on FS2. The semifinals and $1 million winner-take-all championship game will be July 31 and Aug. 3.
