BEVERLY – After scoring twice in the top of the seventh inning Wednesday night, St. Clairsville Post 159 watched as Beverly/Lowell Post 389/750 tallied two times in the bottom of the inning for a 5-4 walk-off American Legion baseball nod.

Eli Smith put Post 159 up 5-4 with a two-run homer in the seventh. Cole Bowers singled twice.

MARTINS FERRY – Locked in a 1-all stalemate, Jake Winland doubled home Ben Wach in the fourth and then scored on an RBI double by Kobe Hill as the Braves kept their top seed hopes alive.

Caleb Keenan drove in the lone Hitmen run.
