Central’s tennis team competed in Regionals at Parkersburg last week, with their boys team finishing as regional runners-up and qualifying as a team for State competition this Thursday in Charleston. The boys finished with a regular season record of 11-3 (6-1 in-region) to secure the No. 2 seed going into Regionals. The Maroon Knights defeated Weir 4-1 in the Regional Semi-Finals. Central’s girls tennis team went 12-3 in the regular season and made it to the semi-finals of the Regional Tournament.
