Wheeling Winners At 79th Victory Awards

Sancomb similarly won the Evans Award as the top basketball player in the state for the second-straight year, a co-winner this year with George Washington's Noah Lewis. Wack finished his year with 2,079 rushing yards and 26 rushing touchdowns, rewriting the Patriots' record books as the school's new all-time leader for career rushing yards and rushing touchdowns among myriad other records. Sancomb averaged 30.8 points, 11.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game this year, holding several state tournament and school records while helping Wheeling Central to back-to-back state championships.
