EASTON HUNTSMAN
With the conclusion of this past weekend’s OHSAA championship games, the 2026 baseball season has come to an end, and Monday, the best of this past season was recognized as the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association released their All-Ohio baseball teams across all seven divisions– many local standouts from the East Division counted among them.
Division V
Martins Ferry junior Eli Smith was named to the first team at the catcher position. Smith, who led Martins Ferry to the District title game this year, was the East District Co-Player of the Year.
Barnesville senior Dylan Blon was elected to the second team as a pitcher. Blon was honored as the East District Pitcher of the Year earlier in the season, and led Barnesville to a District title and an OVAC 3A runner-up spot.
Harrison Central sophomore Lance Smith landed on the second team as a shortstop. Smith helped his Huskies to a District championship of their own.

DRAKE BOUSCHER
