WHEELING -- Wheeling's Andrew Pennybacker took first place in Tuesday's Calloway Junior Tour outing at Oglebay Resort's Jones Course, besting Lewisburg's Isaac Hutchison in a one-hole playoff to secure his top spot.
Both Pennybacker and Hutchison carded 76's.
Wheeling's Landen Cook finished in fifth with a 78. Weirton's Guy Meneely finished tied for 10th with an 87.
Outside the top 10, Wheeling's Braden Wade finished tied for 12th, while Wheeling's Quinn Marsh and Weirton's Isaiah Smith tied each other for 18th out of 24 total competitors.
The West Virginia Golf Association's tournaments continue throughout the month, culminating in the West Virginia Open Championship on July 29-31 at Glade Springs.
