Ryan Mooney Is 2026 Belmont Hills Club Champion

ST. CLAIRSVILLE - Ryan Mooney is one of the first golfers to come through the PGA Junior League program at Belmont Hills Country Club where he made a hole-in-one during one of his early junior matches.
Entering the final round three strokes behind leader Evan Gibson, Mooney put together an outstanding comeback to capture the 2026 Club Championship with rounds of 74-73-71.
At just 16 years old, he has become one of - if not the youngest-- Club Champion in Belmont Hills history.
Gibson had an outstanding three rounds and a well-earned runnerup finish after posting rounds of 70-74-78.
Judi Hladek was the 2026 Ladies Club Champion. She defeated defending champion Michelle Anderson to claim this year’s title.
Jackson Conway became the first-ever Junior Club champion by shooting 78-79. He held off a strong charge from Henry Ralston, who fired an impressive final-round 74 to make for an exciting finish.
Other winners were: 1st Flight Champion: Alex Stephens (73-78); 2nd Flight Champion: Charles Spadafore (81-85) and 3rd Flight Champion: Winning his 3rd title, Rob Anderson (93-95)

Panthers Win Tri-Match
TORONTO - Buckeye Local opened the 2026 high school golf season with a pair of victories Monday at the Dyer Country Club.
The Panthers carded a 184, which was one shot better than Madonna. The host Red Knights were third at 198.
The Blue Dons' Evan Kaczmarek earned medalist honors with a 40. That was one shot ahead of the Panthers' Dugan Dobrovich.
Hank Bodnar led Toronto with a 42.
