COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Buckeyes were well represented in the 2026 Athlon Preseason All-American teams, released by the publication on Friday. Seven Buckeyes were named preseason All-Americans by Athlon. The OSU contingent of preseason All-Americans were led by first team selection wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. Over his first two collegiate seasons, Smith totaled 2,558 receiving yards and 27 touchdown receptions, the most by any Big Ten receiver in their first two years in college.
