Class AAA All-State Softball Squads Released

A fourth consecutive state softball title at Winfield paid dividends this season for the Generals, who landed three players on the Class AAA All-State first team. Mattie Carroll, a senior pitcher who was part of three of those championships, was named first-team captain, as voted by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association at the conclusion of the state tournament.
