Helping those affected by last weekend’s devastating flash floods is bringing rivals together on the hardwood for the first time in a long time.

Wheeling Park and Wheeling Central Catholic high schools have announced a charity basketball game scheduled for 6:30 p.m. June 25 at the Central Catholic High School Athletic Center at 13th and Jacob Streets in Wheeling. Admission will be free, and donations will be taken at the site to benefit the Triadelphia and Valley Grove volunteer fire departments.

The game will be officiated by OVAC officials who are donating their time and waiving fees to referee the game.
