Annual Ladies Night Coming Soon

MOUNDSVILLE — The annual Ladies Night, sponsored by the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce, will be held on April 25th from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Moundsville Economic Development Center, 818 Jefferson Ave.

Nearly 40 booths representing area businesses and home-based vendors will be open for shopping. The event will include a style show by Macy’s, featuring women from the community, and a meal catered by Alexander’s on Seventh.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ladies League of Marshall County. The group’s mission is “To Serve, To Assist, To Support.”

In fulfillment of this mission, the organization held a Women’s Health Fair in cooperation with WVU Medicine-Reynolds Memorial Hospital in which 100 women took advantage of screenings and medical-related information.

The group also organized the Cinderella Project to provide dresses to any girsl in Marshall County who will be attending a spring prom. The teens were provided dresses, jewelry and other accessories at no cost. In addition, the league outfitted 40 women for the Tim Tebow Foundation Night to Shine prom.

The Ladies Night committee is chaired by Heather Martin and Valerie Piko, assisted by committee members Cassie Sherman, Stacey Murphy, Janis Potts, Beth Bertram, Jessica Rine, Brittany Birch, Lisa Ingram, Karen Baker, Beth Geho and Jodi Cunningham.
