At 12:40 p.m., Washington Avenue, vandalism. A few cars in a student parking lot at Wheeling Jesuit University were egged. One vehicle may have been hit by a paintball, according to police spokesman Philip Stahl. Police have no suspects at this time.
At 12:35 p.m., Baltimore Street, suspicious person.
At 12:28 p.m., National Road, fight.
At 10:46 a.m., Warwood Avenue, domestic incident.
At 10:38 a.m., National Road, automobile breaking and entering.
At 10:34 a.m., National Road, battery.

OHIO COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
Between 6:16 a.m. Monday and 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, deputies handled 39 traffic stops, one vehicle accident and two miscellaneous calls.
WEDNESDAY
At 7:37 a.m., Kruger Street, Wheeling, disorderly adult.
At 2:41 a.m., Cabela Drive, Triadelphia, disorderly adult. A taxi driver said he transported a female from a bar on Wheeling Island to a hotel at The Highlands, Triadelphia. She was unable to pay her fare and was extremely intoxicated, the driver reported. Deputies took her to Ohio Valley Medical Center and contacted her father.
At 2:22 a.m., Jenkins Lane, Triadelphia, threat. A hotel patron said people down the hall were threatening his life. Deputies found nothing and advised the patron to stay in his room.
TUESDAY
At 10:14 p.m., Van Meter Way, West Liberty, motorist assist.
At 9:49 p.m., Main Street, mental hygiene pickup.
At 7 p.m., Maple Davis Lane, Stone Church, vehicle identification number verification.
At 6:58 p.m., Mount Wood Road, Wheeling, meet complainant.
At 4:21 p.m., Interstate 70 east, motorist assist.
At 11:29 a.m., Bae Mar Place, assist other agency.
At 9:43 a.m., West Alexander Road, Valley Grove, suspicious vehicle.
At 9:48 a.m., 16th Street, fraud. At the sheriff's department, a man reported that he's a victim of fraud by a company in Belpre, Ohio. Deputies took information and will meet with him again later this week.
At 8:28 a.m., Coventry Road, Valley Grove, destroyed animal. Deputies fired two shots.
At 2:28 a.m., Middle Creek Road, Triadelphia, unknown trouble.
At 2:05 a.m., West Alexander Road, Valley Grove, assault and battery in progress.
At 12:09 a.m., Mountaintop Lane, Valley Grove, 911 hangup.
